Favourite Books: I read books? Wow, I didn't know that! The last book I read was the 5th Harry Potter book... and before that, the 4th. Yeah, so my fav books are Harry Potter. Though I guess that isn't saying much, because I haven't read anything else. Then again, maybe it's saying a lot O.o Depends on how you look at it.

Today was B-O-R-I-N-G. Yes, boring. So why am blogging? Well in light of my bordness, I made my blog look like a living person made it... by adding some images and random other neat things.
I also watched all of Pet Shop of Horros! Yes, all 4 OVAs! It was just so long *note the sarcasm* -_- Honestly, I wish it was longer but the series was really great. It pulled me into the plot and everything, something most anime I've tried getting into lately have failed in doing.
After yesterday and the worst fan fics I've ever read, I actually tried looking for more SasuNaru fics! (Yes, I'm insane!) I only found one I was willing to read, it wasn't bad... and after reading my rant on fan fics, I wouldn't take back a single word... except I do want to post some of the better Sasuke x Naruto fics out there. Just in case anyone is wondering, here are some of the fics I've really liked:

As a warning, I'm about to insult about 70% of fanfictions in one way of another, as I'm very annoyed...
Ok, well today was super boring, so I decided to read some Naruto fics, like I do when I bored, and of course, they have to be a Sasuke x Naruto paring. Why? Because I'm an obsessive yaoi fangirl and can't stand to read about any other pairings in Naruto (unless I run into a SakuNaru, where I don't notice it's isn't SasuNaru, heh). Ok, so I go searching, about 90% of what I find I've already read. Such is the life of a SasuNaru reader, in search of a good fic -.- But that didn't stop me! (saddly) I went and tried reading some fics I haven't bother with before... in short, it was painful. PAINFUL. I was forcing myself to read them. Then in the end, I found out I wasn't getting paid to read them and would rather not ruin my love of SasuNaru fics... how the hell did some of them get over 100 reviews??
Some examples would be:
Sasuke and/or Naruto magically realise that they have the hots for the other boy. How? God only knows. What happened to realistic character development?!
This above is often accompanied by Naruto's sudden discovery they he no longer loves Sakura, also, he may even find her to be a bitch, think all he felt for her to begin with was a stupid crush (which I'm somewhat willing to agree with), or maybe he just chased after her to compete with Sasuke -_-
Everyone being so very unexplainably out of character. If I'm not reading a comdey, I really don't want to read things OOC!
Do these ppl have a speel cheaker? There spelting and grammers is horrable!
I read one fic that was pretty much just dialogue, I had a hell of a time keeping up with who was talking! Then I read one with overly descriptive... everything. Lets not forget the ones where over half of the 'chapter' involved talking to previous reviewers, creating dialogue between themself and the characters. At the end of the chapter some people write more random comments about the making of the chapter/problems/nothing at all to do with the story, so much babble that it becomes longer than the chapter its self! Honestly, one or two stories I read had me figuring 90% of the text wasn't even the story, but the authors ramblings!
Sakura bashing, it really bugs me, and it's also very unprofessional. Why do people hate her so much?! I sure don't know. I read a fic where she suddenly dies, for no reason. Way to work around her being an obstacle in Sasuke and Naruto's relationship O__O Not.
Rape. yeah... rape, what the hell is rape doing in Naruto fics? Not even rate R ficsat that! I mean, how is this going to bring Naruto and Sasuke closer together? Rape is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone, yet I read more than one fic, involving Naruto being rapped. Since when would he put up with something like that? He really wasn't acting like he'd been rapped either O.o
I could go on and on about the horrid things I read today... uggg. Now I know why some people must hate SasuNaru as a couple! I don't blame them if any if the fics I read to day have anything to do about it.
Besides my rant on crappy fics, I take back what I say for some of the things above, if they are presented in a reasonable and realistic manner (minus the rape). I've read some stories where the grammar is lacking and the one liner sentences start getting to me, but what it really comes down to is the plot. If it's good, then I can enjoy the story and look past almost everything else. Also I don't mind people being out of character either, what's the point in a story if the characters remain the same as when the story starts out? It just needs to come on slowly in a believable way. If the story takes place in the future and the characters have changed in personality, the author hopefully gives some flashback or reasoning behind the characters new attitude, and given the circumstances I generally find them in character. Anyway, it's getting late... and I've wasted a day reading crap where I've had to restrain myself from slamming my head into the table from frustration.
